You've probably heard of Ali Brown, known as the "Entrepreneurial
Guru for Women". I've been following her for quite some time and have learned many valuable lessons from
her.
She helps people start and grow their own businesses, mainly women - but not exclusively. Her result-getting
trainings are some of the best for entrepreneurs but can get expensive (no surprise), especially for those who
want one-on-one consulting time with her.
She's launching a new program called "Elevate" which she is promoting with a free video series. I've watched the videos and think they're worth sharing. Some great
tips for boosting your profits in 2012 (even if you're a man!) There are 4 videos with downloadable
worksheets. She shares specific strategies that she herself uses in her own business and outlines how we can
implement them ourselves. Extremely useful - and free. Why wouldn't I watch it?
How to Find the Perfect Business Name
Lately, I've noticed many people have been asking about how to name their businesses - or they want business
name ideas. This can be a challenging question to answer, since the business owner is the only person who
really knows the values and focus of the business as well as it's target market.
A business name should not be taken lightly, but why spend weeks or months trying to figure out a name for
your company when you can do it in a day? Seriously.
 Here are some things we don't want to
do:
1. Get a stupid company name. Customers won't take us seriously.
2. Get an average boring name. We will never get or keep anyone's attention long enough to sell them
anything.
3. Get a non-de-script name. Prospects will have no idea how they will benefit by taking time out of their day
to see us.
On the other hand, a great company name will succeed at creating an instant curiosity and understanding from
your shoppers and website visitors. When people are curious about you, they spend more time with you - and when
they understand you better, they are likely to trust you more.
On top of this, they are more likely to remember your company and tell their friends about you.
Actually, the right business name can be extremely cheap to get - but in return, generate lots of
income for you. But guess what? The wrong business name can cost you... more than you think.
