How to Earn Extra Money 1-2-3
Whether you want to earn extra money in your spare time - to you want to turn an income opportunity into
a full-time career to replace your regular day job, there are lots of ways you can do it.
If you wan to earn extra income, you need to be creative. You need to market yourself, your skills or your
services in a way that shows that people will experience a benefit by working with you. This applies if you are
applying for a job or if you decide to start your own part-time business.
Personally, I think the best way to make extra money is to start a side business of your own. Although there
may be a little more work involved up front, you are likely to have a lot more freedom and flexibility in your
work schedule once you have started - and you can make significantly more money.
This does not mean that you have to buy into a business opportunity. If you simply want to earn extra income
and don't have a lot (or any) money to invest on starting a business, the best way to get started is work from
home. No commuting, no office space and no suit and tie!
How to Make Extra Money from
Home
Below are some ways to make extra money online or offline - in your own home-based
business.
Errand-Running Business
Running errands can be a simple service that you can easily turn into a way to earn extra money. People who
have busy schedules are happy to pay others to take care of necessary, but simple, taskes for them. A car or
truck can be useful, especially for delivery-type or long-distance errands. However, a personal vehicle is not
necessary to start an errand running business.
Freelance Writing
You may be surprised to now how many part-time writing opportunities there are. Many businesses outsource
this work, and you don't even have to have experience writing. Take multiple jobs or just one. It's a good idea
to have a short sample of your writing, so that people hiring you can see your writing
style.
Dog Walking or Pet Sitting
Taking care of pets has been a traditional way of earning extra income. Kennels and doggy day cares can get
expensive, so pet owners may be happy to know that you offer a less expensive or in-home care alternative. If
you enjoy being around animals, a dog walking service is one that is easy to start - requiring minimal skills
or start-up cost.
Grow and Sell Your Own
Herbs
Do you like gardening and have a green thumb? Consider growing and selling herbs from your backyard - and
you don't have to have a large space. That's what Mike McGroarty did. He now earns a living from home
doing just that! He'll show you how to run a profitable plant-growing business with just a half acre of
land.
