However, make sure that you protect yourself and your products with an iron-clad consignment agreement before you release your hard work to the store-owner.
- Selling Your Crafts on eBay
eBay is the perfect way to sell your crafts to people from all over the world. Do some research on eBay before you get started to make sure that there’s a market for your items. Alternatively, if you have a fairly unique item, you could make up a proto-type and “test the waters” by running one auction and gauging the response. You may find that some craft items sell better at certain times of the year so bear this in mind when you plan your strategy.

Putting together a catalog with pictures and descriptions of your craft items and distributing them is another great way to sell your crafts. It doesn’t have to cost a lot of money to put one together either. Simply use publishing or word processing software, add your pictures and descriptions and you’ve got a catalog. Make up just a small batch to start and distribute them to family, friends or your craft sale mailing list customers.

Everybody’s been to a home party at one time or another and bought items that can’t be found in stores. So why not take this concept one step further and sell your unique craft items in a home party atmosphere? Make sure you reward your party hostess with either a beautiful craft item or discount and she’ll be sure to invites lots of her buying friends.
