You may have a great talent for writing entertaining stories for children – but how do you get your creation into print and your works published and into the hands of children?
If you don’t know where to start, we’ve got some good news. Book publishing is becoming easier and very affordable – even for authors on a budget.
You can compose, publish and sell your books online – even in downloadable format – for very little cost up front. You just need to know which tools to use.
Trying to figure out how to get your self published books into book stores? Here’s how to do it:
There are online services such as SelfPublishing.com who will walk you through the steps of self-publishing your own books and then selling them through online bookstores like Amazon or in brick-and-mortar book shops nationwide.
Another example is LuLu. You can design your book right on their site – from book binding to paper weight to cover design (they have a cool cover creator!). You don’t need to know anything about formatting either, because they take care of that too.
Jeannie Harmon and Sheila Seifert are experts at writing and selling children’s books. They provide step-by-step instructions on how to get started – and they can show you how to succeed, even if you’ve never written a book before!
