With these types of companies, work hours tend to be more flexible, so working moms can easily schedule their businesses around their kids and families. Think about how many hours a week you want to work, where you want to work and the type of work you enjoy doing.

D. Teaching: Do you enjoy helping others learn new skills or knowledge? Besides being a teacher, you might also look into opening a daycare business or starting tutoring or seminar programs

E: Detail-Oriented Work: This line of work includes medical claims businesses, bookkeeping services and also accounting fall into this category.

Women who have a creative flair or who are great communicators have a big advantage in business. Not only can you excel in a creative field or in an a line of work that requires social interaction - but these skills are very advantageous when it comes to sales.

This does not mean "selling" necessarily. Sales includes developing customer relationships, networking, problem solving and most of all: listening. When clients like you as a person, they want to do business with you. Women can be great at this. If you want to start a business but think you have limited skills: think again!
